A/B Switch
The SW-1 A/B switch is for I.F. switching in Trilithic's EASy system.
Trilithic's SW-1 is an A/B switch designed specifically for I.F. switching and deployment in the Trilithic EASy system.

The small SW-1, measuring approximately 1 inch in size, is installed into the modulator's I.F. loop and is the only Trilithic hardware required at the rear of your modulator or processor for Emergency Alert activation.
The SW-1 switch is a fail-safe switch that operates at 40-50 MHz. In conjunction with the Trilithic LS-16P, the SW-1 provides an alternate I.F. signal to the channel during an EAS alert. For modulators requiring dual I.F. feeds, simply install two SW-1 switches at the rear of each channel.
The SW-1 switch receives its power, control and I.F. signal via a single coaxial drop cable fed from the LS-16P distribution amplifier. During normal operation, the SW-1 switch completes the channel's I.F. loop, connecting the modulator’s I.F. output and input.
When the Emergency Alert System is activated, a substitution I.F. signal and a control signal are applied to the SW-1's input port. The SW-1 then activates the EAS input to the modulator.

Trilithic\'s SW-4 I.F. switch is a local contact closure designed for use in the Trilithic EASy system.
The SW-6 by Trilithic is a TTL controlled switch with two independent SPDT contact closures.
Trilithic\'s SW-IP is a network IP contact closure switch for remote switching in digital systems.
EAS Warranty & Return Service
Trilithic’s warranty policy for Emergency Alert Systems (EAS) Equipment extends for two (2) years from the date of shipment, If covers mistakes or deficiencies in materials and workmanship.
Exclusions from coverage are for any of the following events occurring after the product has
- Defects or damage resulting from improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect
- Contact with liquid or extreme humidity, sand or any comparable substance, or extreme heat
- Use of the product for any use other than those prescribed in the Trilithic operating manual for EAS equipment
- Damage resulting from service or modifications performed by a person or firm other than Trilithic, In. or those authorized by Trilithic, Inc. to perform such service on EAS equipment, including, but not by way of limitation, any such damage resulting from installation, testing or other adjustments to hardware or software, and damage resulting from the use of accessories or peripherals not authorized by Trilithic, Inc. for use in and with its EAS equipment.
In The Event of Product Failure
If the EAS product is diagnosed as having failed for reasons other than the exclusions listed above, please call 888-895-7629 and request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
All returned merchandise must have the symptom clearly identified in writing, signed by the authorized representative of the sender and attached to the failed product. All returned merchandise must bear the RMA Number clearly marked in large numerals on the outside of the shipping carton.

EAS products returned without an RMA number clearly marked are subject to a twenty percent (20%) processing fee.
Extended Hardware Warranty
Trilithic, Inc. offers an optional EAS warranty period extension of two (2) years on materials and five (5) years on workmanship from the expiration of the original warranty period. This option must be exercised at the time of the original product purchase.
