The EB5020 Economy Broadcast EncoderDecoder unit also includes the following expansion slots for optional hardware upgrades; one (1) AMFMNOAA Radio Receiver Expansion Slot, one (1) COM Expansion Board 1 Expansion Slot, and one (1) AES-EBU Audio Board expansion slot.

The Economy EncoderDecoder cannot be upgraded and only supports one (1) AMFMNOAA Radio Receiver Board and a maximum of four (4) EAS inputs (combined radio and audio inputs). This model does not support PCIe Expansion Boards, 16-zone Routing Output Boards, COM Expansion Board 2, or Microsoft Mediaroom Software.
